Dota fan? League fan? Overwatch fan? Well, you'll be hooked on Supervive pretty much right away (once you get past the onboarding that is)! Ok, some quick overviews for starters. Supervive is a fun mix of all your favs with a touch of battle royale chaos. This is a squad-based hero game that lets you pick from different Hunters with unique classes and abilities. You got that ominous storm closing in on the map which funnels squads into high-pressure zones for epic battles. Teams of four are airdropped into the map, where you fight to survive by taking down CPU enemies and rival squads. I'll just say, it's extremely fast-paced, and honestly, beautifully highly polished compared to other traditional MOBAs. As a Dota fan myself, I can say it’s a fresh take that I'll be having a lot of fun with on and off stream.

The Gameplay

A standout feature is the hybrid evolution of how you build out your hero and the randomization of items in these battle royale style matches. The way you customize your hero keeps it fresh and interesting, making each match feel exciting and unique. While not all heroes are available upfront, unlocking them is surprisingly easy, even for free-to-play gamers. As a Dota player, this resonates with me more than League of Legends, it feels more rewarding and less like a grind. My favorite part is that matches are QUICK and so satisfying. It makes for great competitive play or just some casual unwinding. The fast pace means that even if you lose, it doesn’t even really feel like a defeat (because you don't have time to cry about it) BOOM you're already jumping into the next round.

The “Beta Experience”

While Supervive gets a lot right (can't really complain about much at all), it’s still in open beta, so there’s room for improvement. The onboarding tutorial, for instance, could use a MAJOR revamp. Navigation felt clunky at first, and the lack of direction made starting out tougher than expected. But once I got through the onboarding, I was on board with it (everyone loves a good dad joke, right? 🥁). They also have lots of updates scheduled at the start of the year, so they're crushing it.

Final Verdict

Supervive is a winner. From the vibrant visuals to the action-packed gameplay, it just has a lot to offer. It feels familiar but it also feels like something new for MOBA fans. And I mean, it's FREE to play guys. Speaking of that. Wanna help me get cool stuff? Use my "Refer a friend" code. On the main loading page of the game, click the second tab on the bottom left graphics box "Refer a friend" and enter code: 62bc781e5f7844f9a73f7abd21b8d635 (thanks for the flowers in advance!)

Alright, yeah. This is definitely going to be part of my off-stream rotation for decompressing too. Can’t wait to see how it evolves from here.

Catch you on the streams,
